 UAB Baltic Engineering Centre

The engineering company UAB Baltic Engineering Centre, in daily talk shortened to BEC, was established on 14 October 1999 by Odense Steel Shipyard Ltd. (former front shipyard of A.P. Moller-Maersk Group) and is located in Klaipeda, the biggest seaport city in Lithuania. On 9th of June 2010 the BEC had been sold by Odense Steel Shipyard Ltd. to BLRT Grupp AS.

The BEC Company stands for considerable practical engineering experience within the maritime line of business as its employees come from the former consultant company LIC Ship Engineering Centre in Klaipeda, now closed Design Construction Department in Shipbuilding Yard Baltija and graduated from Lithuanian and Russian Federation Universities. BEC consequently has a very good basics for offering professional and highly competitive engineering services with focus on high quality for reasonable price. The company’s background in international labor and business culture-of witch the best parts of each have been merged-also contribute to enable BEC to give its customers the best services.
